Go/No-Go Buddy
The Go/No-Go task app for measuring response inhibition, impulsivity, and sustained attention in a simple, controlled way.

Available on iOS and Android.
Based on the classic Go/No-Go task
Go/No-Go Buddy implements the classic Go/No-Go paradigm, where participants respond as quickly as possible to frequent "go" stimuli but must withhold their response to less frequent "no-go" stimuli. This well-established task reveals response inhibition, impulse control, and sustained attention.
Maximum flexibility
Configure the number of trials, the ratio of go to no-go stimuli, and timing parameters so the task matches your study design.
Result analysis
Review reaction times, commission errors (false alarms on no-go trials), and omission errors directly in the app to monitor participant performance.
Easy export
Export your Go/No-Go results to .CSV and send them via email, WhatsApp, Slack, or any other app for further analysis.
For theses, research projects, and clinical assessments
Whether you are running a thesis project, a research pilot on impulsivity or ADHD, or a classroom demonstration of executive function, Go/No-Go Buddy provides a straightforward way to collect reliable response-inhibition data.
Go/No-Go Buddy FAQ
Can I use this app for my bachelor or master thesis?
Yes. Go/No-Go Buddy is designed to make it easy to run Go/No-Go sessions that you can compare over time and relate to other cognitive measures in your study.
Can I change the number of trials and the go/no-go ratio?
Yes. You can configure trial counts, the ratio of go to no-go stimuli, and timing parameters so the task matches your protocol or research design.
What does the app measure?
Go/No-Go Buddy logs reaction times on go trials, commission errors (responding to no-go stimuli), and omission errors (missing go stimuli) — the standard measures of response inhibition and sustained attention.
